Unhappy with the way Raavana is looking, Mani Ratnam will reshoot for over 30 days this month.

Mani Ratnam is a passionate filmmaker - a fact which comes through in all the films he makes. Thanks to his quest for perfection, he has decided to reshoot several portions of his Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan starrer, Raavana, which is his most ambitious project. The film’s cast has been asked to give a fresh batch of dates for the reshoot.

Vidya Balan, Abhishek Bachchan and the entire unit of Pa was asked to leave the Cambridge University grounds after they unknowingly flouted a rule while shooting there.

Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan, who are back from London after shooting the final schedule of R Balki’s Pa, had a rather peculiar experience while they were there.

Abhishek and I have been close throughout our careers. Within a year of our being together, he proposed to me and it was an immediate yes. In Toronto, we had the premiere of Guru and there was a screening and a press interaction in New York and we were supposed to take the flight back, when he proposed. And he said he had a reason for that, he said he used to be in New York at that very spot thinking about the possibility of us being together. Much as Hrithik Roshan’s fans would love to see him play Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in producer Karan Johar’s remake of the Amitabh Bachchan classic Agneepath, Hrithik has refused to do the film. Abhishek Bachchan has stepped into his father’s big shoes to play the iconic character.

You know that he is on the verge of remaking his late father Yash Johar’s superhit 1990 film Agneepath. And that he had Hrithik Roshan in mind for the lead role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, which won Amitabh Bachchan a National Award.

It was Bachchans all the way as the 10th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards concluded with expected results late on Saturday.
